Healing Voice

Healing Voice is a welcome balm to Ethiopian women suffering from conditions beyond their control.

Although treatable in wealthier countries, fistula, an injury from childbirth, troubles many women around the world. If left untreated, fistula can cause infection and other health issues. But, fistula is more damaging than just physical.

Women with this untreated condition are often ostracized from their communities, kicked out of their homes or treated as sub-human. The shame and isolation that these women experience is heartbreaking.

And, that is why the program Healing Voice was created. For women in Ethiopia, Healing Voice provides emotional support and spiritual counsel so that these women know that God is not ashamed of them.
