December 2017 - Boldness to Bring Hope
Dear Friends,
As we come to the end of another year of ministry, my heart turns to the Psalms for truth and guidance. I love Psalm 25 and have made this psalm my prayer every day with the Lord. I ask God to make me know his ways, to teach me his paths, to guide me and show me his will before I make decisions for the day.
Make me to know your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long.Psalm 25:4-5
In this Psalm, David stressed his confidence in turning to the Lord for guidance. May we, too, find confidence when we turn to the Lord in prayer. May God be the first person we turn to when we are seeking instruction. May we ask God to show us his ways, including his truth. May we cry out to God to teach us his paths for our lives and the ministry of TWR Women of Hope.
This month, in the prayer calendar, you will see that we have a Scripture passage with each of our prayers. We believe that the Bible is valuable for teaching, correction and training in living a life that is right with God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). As you pray, please rest in his Word and pray the words written for us to follow for our lives to be changed for Jesus.
This year has been a good year filled with transition and training for the new look and ministry of TWR Women of Hope. We continue to hear mighty stories of hope and healing from our listeners and intercessors around the world and across generations. I had the great honor to be with several of our leaders in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe this year to encourage and equip them with materials and messages of hope for TWR Women of Hope.
Thank you for your faithfulness over this past year to press on in prayer, every day seeking to lift your voice for those in many countries that have no voice. Your prayers are what sustain us and gives us the power to persevere in times of trials.
May God give you hope today as we see a world that is desperate for the hope and healing found in Jesus. May God give us a boldness to bring that hope to women around the world and across generations.
