October 2017 - New Programs, Multiple Trips, and Upcoming Events
Dear Friends,
I trust you are sensing God's hand as you walk through this season. For those of us in the U.S. the seasons are just beginning to change.
Travels
When this article releases, I will be traveling on a multi-week trip through Austria, Denmark, Albania, and India. I will be building relationship with TWR Women of Hope and TWR leaders and speaking at multiple events. The theme for several of the conferences is “Women: God’s Unique Creation.”
I am especially looking forward to speaking with our teams in Albania to survivors of trafficking and female prisoners. I will be bringing a message of hope as they walk through the healing from the pain of their past.
Thank you for praying for: excellent meetings, God’s favor, safe travels, effective communication, and focused growth for TWR Women of Hope.
Events
I’m also looking forward to several upcoming events this fall.
- Advisory Board Meeting
- My advisory team will be gathering soon to pray and strategize the future of TWR Women of Hope. Please pray that our meetings would be encouraging and fruitful as we surrender to God’s plan.
- Dessert & Discover
- My deepest thanks to Ruth Petty, a member of our advisory board, for leading the charge for the Dessert & Discover in Greensboro on October 12th.
- Global Prayer Call
- We will be hosting our second Zoom global prayer call on Tuesday, October 24th. You can join us online, by phone, or be present with us in the Cary office live. We will be praying the same agenda at 9:00am, 4 and 7pm. RSVP here.
Happenings
It is so great when a project gets finished AHEAD of schedule! We now have our English 30 second audio prayer calendar available on TWR360! Check it out!
Valerie Smith has done an excellent job and various members of the TWR Team voice the prayer each day (myself included!). For our November audio prayer calendar we are using some of our international leaders from Canada, Brazil and South Africa.
We also have it uploaded on our landing page on TWR360. This page spotlights several ministries to women along with many of the things that TWR Women of Hope has to offer.
There is so much more, God has been moving! However, I will close for now.
