Dear Friends,

Psalm 121:1-2 says,

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.”

The wonderful thing about reading the Psalms is that we can find so many ways that they apply to our everyday lives.

Where does your help come from?

Here in this passage, the psalmist on his journey through the mountains asks the question: Where does my help come from? He finds the answer by considering his faith in the Lord, who created heaven and earth – along with those imposing mountains – and therefore is capable of providing all the help the psalmist would ever need.

This month, as we pray for our sisters in Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, may we ask God to show himself to them in their greatest time of need? God does hear our cries (Psalm 37:17) and will protect and provide a place of safety for all those who call upon the name of the Lord (Psalm 91:15).

I have met some of our sisters who serve faithfully in this region known as CAMENA. They are faithful, hardworking and committed women who love Jesus. Please pray that they will sense God’s presence every day as they serve to bring hope in Jesus to women in that region of the world.

Thank you for your dedication and commitment to join with thousands of intercessors around the world who are praying faithfully with us each day. May you experience his peace, mercy and love today as you pray alone or join others in a prayer group.

In Him our hearts rejoice,
