“Even if my father beats me, I feel that your prayers are lifting up my tired soul. I believe Jesus is the only one who can make my parents change if they follow him. Meanwhile, I know that he is my only hope and refuge. Keep praying that His peace dwells in my heart always.”
Farsi
In the latest report from our Farsi follow-up team in Turkey, they remark about how the Church is “growing like wildfire” in Iran. Facebook is being used to send the prayer calendar to more than 28 prayer groups in Iran.
Three listeners wrote:
“I am a teacher in Iran. I am one of your regular listeners since 2013, and we listen in a group of 4-5. Recently I converted to Christ, and the Lord has opened my eyes. Now I’m so eager to hear from the Lord, but unfortunately we have no access to a Bible. Will you please read the Bible to us?”
“I had mental problems for a long time and used medicine every day, but it only put me to sleep and nothing more. I tried to commit suicide twice but couldn’t succeed. I turned on the radio and accidently found your program. Your words gave me hope. After a while I went to an Iranian church. They gave me a Bible, and I started to read it. I listen to your program regularly. Thank you for being there. Your words saved my life.”
“I’m one of your regular listeners since 2014. In December 2015, I converted to Christ and through your radio programs accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. But sadly, when my husband find out that I became a Christian, he left the house and married another woman. He even refuses to take care of his children. And now I have a hard time. Please pray for me and my daughters. God bless you.”
Your support is a key component in what God is doing around the world. Thank you!
