Prayers to Stand Strong
Father, we continue to pray about C's current job situation and her desire for you to open up new employment. Help her to focus her mind and heart on your faithfulness and presence so that fear and anxiety do not rob her of the ability to trust in you. It is challenging to do so when our circumstances are so difficult. May she find peace and strength in what your Word says is true about her and her situation:
Psalm 28:7: The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
Joshua 1:9: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Romans 15:13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Father, give her your strength to keep her eyes on you as you work in her situation and give her insight into seeing it from your perspective. You, God are the one who fights our battles and we keep our eyes fixed on you, our righteous and sovereign all-powerful Father. We join in you praying for breakthroughs in God’s perfect timing,
