"How Should I Live to Enjoy His Love?"
For believers in some parts of China, finding discipleship materials can be challenging. The Women of Hope program is broadcast regularly in Mandarin to provide resources and biblical teaching for women. Sometimes, we hear back from listeners who have been blessed by the program.
An excerpt from a letter written by a listener in China:
I don't have any radio at home, but I was able to listen to your program through my neighbor’s radio.
I listened to the programs and continuously asked myself, how then should I live to enjoy His love, to balance my ability and His promises? How should I change my own moral standard and flee from evil?
No matter how many years you have been walking with the Lord, sometimes we look at the gap between who we are and who God is, and wonder how we could possibly measure up to His holiness. In our flesh, it is hard to flee from evil.
As women of hope though, we hope in the one who closes the gap by the cross. Jesus Christ loves us for who we are, not what we do. Even when we stumble and fall, it is the LORD who reaches out his hand and picks us back up (Psalm 37:23-24). Call out to him and he will rescue you (Psalm 18:30) for he is trustworthy, working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
