Outreach to Türkiye

Türkiye is a hostile place for Christians, and those who leave the dominant religion risk persecution. Additionally, high unemployment leaves young adults hopeless about a bright future.

TWR’s ministry partners in Türkiye operate FM radio stations in the country and produce daily programming to guide young adults toward answers found in the Bible and hope in Jesus. A 20-year-old young woman said, “Growing up as a girl in a conservative family is not easy—you don’t really get to choose your own path. But your program helped me see life differently. At first, I thought you were wrong about Jesus, but then I realized I was in the dark. I came to know Jesus as my Savior. In Jesus, I found value and real hope. Even though my family struggles with this, I’m so thankful I believe in him.”

Türkiye also has a high rate of domestic violence, and Turkish women benefit from the Women of Hope program that lets them know they are loved by God. Your support will allow us to continue producing these encouraging broadcasts.
