Reaching the Roma in Central and Eastern Europe

The Roma people (formerly known as Gypsies) of Central Europe have been marginalized for centuries and experience discrimination in every form. Especially concerning is the lack of quality education for most Roma children. Imagine their peace when they learn that Jesus loves them and died for them.

TWR has been broadcasting in Roma dialects for more than two decades, and Roma churches exist in Europe today because of this outreach. The Roma Discipleship Tool is a set of audio and teaching materials that take Roma Christians deeper in their walk with God. The ministry to children comprises songs for use with animations through which Roma children are learning Bible stories and hearing the gospel.

With these tools to enhance TWR’s long-running ministry, including the distribution of radios, more Roma are coming to Christ and being discipled in the Word of God.
