Bonaire S America

TWR has been broadcasting from the island of Bonaire for 60 years. This small
Caribbean island is situated about 50 miles off the northern coast of
Venezuela, which makes it an ideal place to reach Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela, northern Brazil and the surrounding countries. Beginning in 1964, the TWR staff on Bonaire produced programs, developed ministry to Latin America, maintained an extensive antenna field of towers, and kept our transmitters running. Today, listeners often tell us that from a young age, they grew up under the solid biblical teaching of TWR’s programs from Bonaire.

We have heard many life-changing stories of those raised on spiritual food from TWR
Bonaire. Our signal is the strongest radio broadcast in the western hemisphere, and programs are going out in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and Macuxi for Brazil. The signal covers the entire nation of Cuba, and Cubans are hungry for the Word of God. From teens to the elderly, people in every age category testify that they have received Christ as a result of hearing the programs of TWR.

The age of our homes, offices, and radio station buildings, plus the wind and salt air, have rendered our infrastructure in much need of repairs and upgrades. Phase Three includes a spare capacitor for the 450-kilowatt transmitter. After a capacitor recently failed, causing multiple problems and compromising our broadcasts to Brazil, extensive testing revealed the problem, and the capacitor was replaced with our only spare. A new one will allow us to have a spare on hand. Phase Three also comprises upgrades to our missionary homes. Following is a list of projects that will be accomplished with your prayers and support. Thank you for your consideration of these needs!
