Indonesia Earthquake Response Project

Early in the morning of Saturday, Aug. 15, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake shook East Nusa Tenggara, an island chain in southeastern Indonesia. The powerful temblor, along with significant aftershocks, left dozens dead and thousands homeless. 

TWR’s national partner in Indonesia, YTWR, is ready to offer Christ-centered encouragement.  Hope Prevails, a 60-episode program developed to encourage survivors of disaster with the hope only Jesus can bring, first was brought out in the wake of the massive 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami. It also has been presented during earlier earthquakes in Indonesia, and, in 2025, translated into Burmese in response to a major earthquake in Myanmar.

Now, we want to help YTWR present this program, along with emergency aid, to a new disaster zone.
