TWR Women of Hope Turkish

The women of Türkiye (formerly known as Turkey) live in a country with a secular constitution where the majority of the population is Muslim. Women are often considered as second-class citizens because of their gender, and they are treated as such. Some women in the cities hold high places such as doctors or lawyers, but in rural areas they are servants to the men. Turkish women need a voice to give them hope and to let them know they are loved in God’s eyes.

TWR Women of Hope Turkish aims to deal with the place of women in social life and where they find themselves in society. The project reaches women in their unique circumstances, addressing the way they live and how to handle their problems. Through the programs, women are directed to Christ as the answer to their life questions.
