Eswatini Solar Project
TWR has implemented solar systems at several locations worldwide, providing reliable electricity and stewarding ministry resources more efficiently. We believe the time is right to add solar power at our Eswatini transmitter site (ESWATS), where we have been broadcasting across southern, central, and eastern Africa since 1974.
ESWATS operates four high‑power transmitters reaching millions with vital Christian programming. However, electricity costs continue to rise, placing strain on the operating budget. A solar solution will lower costs by storing cheaper nighttime electricity for daytime peak needs, saving $16,500 annually, reducing generator use, and decreasing fuel expenses.
Broadcasting in 25 languages, the Eswatini station impacts a listening audience in the millions. Your partnership will help ensure reliable power for years to come.
